Mediums (From the Cassadaga website)

A medium is one who is capable of receiving communication from people who were once living on the earth and have passed into the spirit world.  This communication from entities may be spontaneous or opened and comes in the form of seeing, hearing, smelling and sensing. Mediumship brings great comfort to those left behind who wish to hear from their loved ones. Mediums individually set their appointments and fees. Please contact individual mediums directly for their detailed information. Appointments are recommended.

Healers (From the Cassadaga website)

A Spiritualist Healer is one who acts as a channel to convey God's healing energies to others, whether for physical, emotional, mental or spiritual healing. This occurs through the laying on of hands.

The Camp

George Colby, was told during a seance that he would found a spiritualist community in the south. He was led by his spirit guide, Seneca, through the woods of central Florida. He homesteaded the land and in 1895 he deeded 35 acres to the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association. It is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

Fairies like condoms?

People leave gifts and trinkets for the fairies, sprites and gnomes along the trail. Apparently, fairies like and/or need condoms. We were surprised too.
